Eggless Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe

The eggless chocolate chip cookies taste like the real thing! Chewy, crisp cookies with loads of chocolate chips. These cookies substitute eggs with applesauce.

Ingredient

– 2 ½ cups All-purpose flour – 1 teaspoon Baking soda – 1 teaspoon Salt – 1 cup Unsalted butter melted and cooled – ¾ cup Brown sugar packed light or dark – ¾ cup White granulated sugar – 2 teaspoon Pure vanilla extract – ½ cup Unsweetened applesauce – 1 ¼ cup Dark chocolate chips can use semi-sweet instead

Direction

Sift flour, baking soda, and salt in a medium basin. Mix and reserve.Melted butter, brown sugar, and sugar should be mixed in a large bowl with a mixer until room temperature to minimize spreading.

Two minutes of medium-high beating. A faint color will result.Put vanilla and apple sauce in. Medium-mix until blended. Stir in the dry ingredients on low speed until mixed.

Disconnect the mixer and scrape the bowl with a rubber spatula. Mix in the chocolate chips.Heat the oven to 350°F. Use parchment on two cookie sheets. Rest the dough for 10 minutes while the oven heats. Helps inhibit spread.

Scoop 6 cookie dough balls each sheet with a 3 tablespoon or 2oz scoop.Baking one sheet at once. Bake until sides are golden and center is slightly underdone, 12-14 minutes.

Sprinkle flaky seat salt and chocolate chips on top. Transfer the cookies to a cooling rack after 5 minutes on the heated pan.
