3-Ingredient No-Churn Vanilla Ice Cream Recipe

This simple ice cream recipe calls for just three ingredients—vanilla—and doesn't even need an ice cream maker or eggs.

INGREDIENT

– 1 14-oz. can sweetened condensed milk – 2 cups heavy cream (1 pint) – 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract – 1/4 teaspoon sea salt

INSTRUCTIONS

No-Churn Mix all ice cream ingredients in blender. Low-speed blending will combine ingredients without overblending. Mix the ingredients in a large bowl with an electric hand mixer if you don't have a blender.

Step 1

Layer the ice cream base in a freezer-safe container and freeze for 5 hours. Serve ice cream after a few minutes of counter thawing. Serve bowls of ice cream.

Step 2

Ice Cream Maker Instructions: Freeze your ice cream maker bowl overnight (or per manufacturer's instructions). Mix all ice cream ingredients in blender. 

Step 3

Mix slowly until well combined, but don't overmix or it will freeze.

Step 4

In the frozen bowl of your ice cream maker, place vanilla ice cream base. Start the ice cream maker and churn until thick and slow.

Step 5

Serve soft serve immediately or freeze ice cream for 2 hours. Ice cream should be thawed 2–5 minutes before serving.
