Baked Strawberry Glazed Doughnut Recipe

Sweet, simple, and tasty Strawberry-glazed baked doughnuts. Strawberry glazed doughnuts are everyone's favourite, but making them at home? Even better. Double strawberry flavour in baked doughnuts with strawberry jam and dried strawberries. Light pink berry-filled doughnuts with cream cheese strawberry icing are wonderful. Soft, doughy, and creamy, each bite is amazing! 

Ingredient

– 4 tablespoons salted butter, melted – 1 tablespoon vanilla extract – 2 large eggs – 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup – 1/4 strawberry jam – 1/2 cup milk – 2 cups whole wheat pastry flour (or all purpose) – 1 tablespoon freeze dried strawberry powder – 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder – 1 teaspoon baking soda – 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt GLAZE – 2 ounces cream cheese – 2 cups powdered sugar – 2-3 tablespoons freeze dried strawberry powder – 1/4 cup hot milk – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Heat the oven to 350°F. Melt butter and grease a 6-cup doughnut or 12-cup muffin pan.

Mix melted butter, eggs, vanilla, honey, strawberry jam, and milk in a bowl. Mix flour, strawberry powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until just mixed.

Fill the prepared pan 1/2–2/3 full with batter. Bake until barely set, 10-12 minutes. After 5 minutes, run a knife over the sides to release and invert the pan.

Mix all ingredients in a bowl with 3-4 teaspoons strawberry powder for the icing. Add milk to thin as needed.

Dip or drizzle doughnuts in glaze. Set for 5 minutes. Munch and enjoy!
