Ghost Cookies recipe

Black cocoa cookies rolled in sugar make up these ghost cookies. A white chocolate ghost is on top of them.

Ingredient

– 1 ⅓ cups All-purpose flour – ¼ teaspoon Baking powder – ¼ teaspoon Baking soda – ½ teaspoon Salt – ½ cup Black cocoa powder – ½ cup Unsalted butter melted and cooled – ¾ cup Brown sugar packed light or dark – ¼ cup White granulated sugar – 1 teaspoon Pure vanilla extract – 1 Large egg room temperature – 1 Egg yolk room temperature – ⅓ cup White granulated sugar – 1 cup White chocolate chips Use a good quality – ⅓ cup Heavy cream – Black writing gel I got this in the baking section at Walmart – White food dye optional

Mix flour, black cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl. Set aside.Add melted butter, brown sugar, and sugar to a separate dish and stir. Two minutes of high-speed mixing.

Mix in vanilla, egg, and yolk. Mix just till blended on medium speed.Add dry ingredients slowly until barely mixed.Heat the oven to 350°F. Line two cookie sheets with parchment. Scoop dough after 10 minutes of resting.

Pour sugar into a bowl. Scoop dough with a 1 oz or 1 tablespoon cookie scoop. Roll each cookie dough with sugar. Use 12 cookie dough balls per sheet.Bake each cookie sheet by itself. Bake 8-10 minutes.

Leave the cookie on the heated pan for 5 minutes. Complete cooling on a rack.Put white chocolate chips in a small basin. Pour heavy cream into a small saucepan/frying pan. Heat medium-low until cream is boiling.

Heat cream and pour it over white chocolate chips. Let it sit for 2 minutes. Smoothly mix. Melt any remaining white chocolate pieces in the microwave for 15 seconds.

Dollop white chocolate in the cookie center with a 1 teaspoon. To form a tail and two arms, apply white chocolate with a toothpick.Do this to all cookies. Make two eyes and a mouth using black writing gel.
