Goat Cheese and Honey-Roasted Pears with Bacon Recipe
We have a stunning side dish or appetiser for you! These goat cheese-stuffed pears are delicious. Sweet, savoury, excellent!
– 4 bosc pears halved and cored
– 8 tablespoons goat chevre
– 8 pieces thick-cut bacon
For Serving:
– Sea salt
– Honey
– Rosemary

Put foil on a baking sheet. Cut the pears in half and remove the core.

Put 1 tablespoon (or more) of goat cheese inside each half of a pear.

Place one slice of bacon around each half of the pear and place them on the baking sheet lined with foil.

In a cold oven, place the baking sheet. Bake bacon at 375 degrees F for 40 minutes until crispy. Grill on high for one minute.

Pour honey over the pear halves, and then sprinkle some sea salt on top. Serve with fresh rosemary.
