Ingredient
– 8 to 10 pound fully cooked spiral sliced ham– 1 cup light brown sugar packed– 3/4 cup honey– 2 tablespoons dijon mustard– 1 teaspoon fresh thyme
Direction
1
Start with a 325-degree oven. Wrap a big roasting pan in aluminium foil or use a disposable one.
2
Cover the ham with foil in the pan. Bake 1 hour. When 10 minutes remain, add honey, brown sugar, dijon mustard, and thyme to a medium saucepan.
3
Heat to a moderate simmer over medium heat. Simmer, stirring constantly, for 5 minutes to thicken the glaze.
4
Pull the gammon from the oven and uncover. Pour half the glaze over the gammon and separate the slices with forks or tongs.
5
Reassemble the slices and pour the remaining glaze over the ham.
6
Bake uncovered for another hour, basting the gammon every 15 minutes with pan drippings.
7
Let the ham sit for 10 minutes before serving. Serve pan drippings separately.
