Hummus Avocado Toast Recipe

Life-Changing Hummus Avocado Toast is perfection in a piece! Creamy hummus, smashed avocado, zingy red onion, tangy feta, juicy tomatoes, and crunchy pistachios go well with crispy bread!  

– 2 slices bread of choice – 2 to 4 Tbsp hummus* – 1 large avocado mashed – 4 cherry tomatoes chopped – 2 Tbsp red onion chopped – 2 Tbsp feta cheese – 2 Tbsp shelled pistachios chopped – Sea salt and black pepper to taste

Add salt and mash the avocado in a small bowl until creamy. Wait to use crushed avocado.Cut the tomatoes, red onion, and pistachios finely on a board.

Toast bread to your preferred crispness. I prefer a rich golden brown finish for crunch.

Cover each toasted bread slice with hummus. Because my bread pieces are little, I use one tablespoon of hummus per slice.

If you use large slices, use more.Spread half the creamy avocado spread over the hummus.

Top avocado toast with chopped tomatoes, red onion, pistachios, and feta. Please top the bread with black pepper.Love this avocado toast!
