Lemon Chicken Recipe 

Lemon Chicken makes a tasty but quick weeknight dinner in 15 minutes! Your family will love this hearty, low-carb dish of tender and juicy chicken fillets in a zesty buttery sauce.  

– 3 tablespoon vegetable oil – 1 ½ pound chicken breasts  – 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning – 1 teaspoon salt – 1 teaspoon pepper – ½ cup chicken broth – ¼ cup Dijon mustard – 3 tablespoon unsalted butter – 3 tablespoon lemon juice – 1 tablespoon honey  – Chopped parsley



After pounding, you can either cut the chicken in half as I did, or you can leave them fairly thin and even.

Salt, pepper, and poultry seasoning should be applied to both sides of the chicken. The chicken should be seared golden brown.

Add the vegetable oil and seasoned chicken to a large skillet. Cook over medium to high heat for approximately 5 minutes on each side.

After cooking and searing, place the chicken on a plate. Stir the chicken broth after it steams and bubbles for a second.

Add the Dijon mustard, butter, and lemon juice, melt on medium to low heat, thicken, and remove from heat.

You can add the honey at this point and stir it in if you want the sauce to have a sweeter flavour.

Return the chicken to the pan, then turn it over to coat it in sauce. After adding parsley, serve.
